It was the original course of the Dinah Shore Tournament and it remains dear to many. The community of Westgate just makes it more appealing for golfers and residents. With three of the finest golf courses in the desert, Mission Hills continues to attract the golfing elite.

Although the changes make the course more challenging, there is also an element of forgiveness that is appealing to all skill levels. Even though the lakes are huge, the beach bunkers actually help save balls from bouncing in the water. And, we sloped the No. 7 green up slightly to help direct balls away from the lake. Quite simply, it’s the best new golf hole in the desert!

The butterfly roof lines and bold geometry … might seem esoteric in other markets, but in mid-mod Palm Springs, they are entirely apropos. An inverted roof over the great room and kitchen is augmented by a large expanse of retractable glazing, making the most of killer mountain views. This realm spills onto a spacious outdoor pavilion, complete with a floating dining peninsula that juts out over the pool. Its interplay of stone cladding and smooth finished volumes, punctuated by deep openings, is downright artful.
